Something extra

It's customary for folks to ring in the new year with a party. But for many years now, Pulse International has been commemorating Christmas Day with its annual Christmas Eve party.

Even if you're away from home you can still enjoy the season.

Extradition talk

1. With so much talk about extradition, persons have been asking questions about the former revenue person who left Jamaica like Nicodemus. There were reports of an arrest warrant, but the case has apparently gone cold.

Tongue-lashing

2. The seemingly kind lawyer said he wanted to help someone from an inner-city community. However, when he started texting suggestive messages and lewd emails to the teenager, she immediately reported the matter to her Member of Parliament. The lawyer got a tongue-lashing he is not likely to forget in a lifetime.

Name change

3. A woman's creativity knows no bounds. Friends of the smart one are still congratulating her on the move to change her name to match that of her beau. After all, he has been promising to pop the question for such a long time. Now he may not need to do anything formal because it all looks very orderly.

Where's the cash?

4. Christmas has come and gone and still no sign of the Dubai largesse. What will happen next year is anyone's guess.

There is only one thing to do on Boxing Day, hang out with friends.

After almost a month in the Cornwall Regional Hospital, there was no better way for seven-year-old Shadae Smith to spend Christmas than to have Montego Bay businessman, Fred Smith, bearing gifts. Sharing in the occasion last Wednesday, was sister Noela Hutchinson, head of paediatric medicine at the hospital.
