Rae Town, led by four goals from Damian Jackson, thrashed Meadhaven United 5-0 in the Kingston and St Andrew Football Association (KSAFA)/Claro Super League competition at the Michigan Avenue playing field on Saturday.
Jackson scored his goals in the 10th, 16th, 43rd and 65th minutes. James Durrant scored Rae Town's other goal in the 25th minute.
The victory now moves Rae Town - by way of a superior goal difference - to the top of the standings with 28 points, the same as Santos (28) and Cavalier (28). Meadhaven United are on six points.
In the day's other games, goals from Fabian Nethersole and Peter Gordon carried Santos to an exciting 2-1 win over Duhaney Park at the Bell-Chung Oval. Omar Williams scored the consolation goal for Duhaney Park.
Cavalier and the Jamaica Defence Force (JDF), with 21 points, played to a 1-1 draw.
Mountain View (22) thrashed Maverley/Hughenden (4) 4-0 at the Maverley Park with goals from Kevin Blair (33rd), Ricardo Reid (51st), Troyland Williams (81st) and Glendon Johnson (93rd).
Real Mona (17) registered a come-from-behind 2-1 win over Constant Spring (21). Michael Mitchell (42nd) and Leroux Lothian (64th) scored for the winners. Romario Wright scored for Constant Spring in the seventh minute.
Barbican (16) and Bull Bay (11) played to an exciting 1-1 draw. Troy Clue gave Barbican the lead in the 27th minute. However, Adrian Harrison equalised for Bull Bay in the 59th minute.
At Up Park Camp, Julian Nugent gave Cavalier the lead in the 45th minute when he collected the ball from Bernard Blackwood in midfield, then outsprinted two JDF defenders to fire home past former U-17 and U20 World Cup goalie Allien Whittaker.
However, Robert Wright gave the JDF the equaliser 14 minutes into the second period with a powerful header from close range, which went like a rocket past goalkeeper Everdean Scarlett.
Cavalier striker Locksley Thompson came close to scoring a winning goal for his team in the dying moments of the match, but is point-blank effort went wide of the target.
